Our Cause
Gaming for Hope, Inc. began with 9-year-old Kevin Gibeault, a longtime patient at Duke Children’s Hospital who discovered joy and connection through gaming. During long hospital stays and difficult treatments, Kevin realized how much comfort a good game could bring on the hardest days.
What started as his personal passion for building gaming PCs quickly grew into a mission to share that same joy with others. With the help of his family and community, Kevin founded Gaming for Hope, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to building and donating custom gaming PCs to children undergoing cancer treatment.
In October 2025, we proudly built and delivered our very first PC — during Kevin’s own hospital stay. That moment reminded us firsthand just how challenging hospital life and treatment can be, and how even a few hours of play can bring light and laughter when it’s needed most.
Every computer we build is filled with care, hope, and the belief that a little play can make a big difference.
